FWIW my own analyses suggest that it makes not a blind bit of difference to your hired drivers where you place your garages - the freight market that the player sees affects only the player driver whilst the AI drivers are just a set of simple rules that are unaffected by the local economy. at that point i loan some money from the bank so that i actually can buy 3 trucks and hire drivers for the trucks. The hired drivers earn also money for your company. So, you earn money when you drive in the game, and the hired drivers earn money. You earn money faster in the beginning :) Every job has a randomly generated per kilometre 'maintenance' cost calculated upon completion on top of the driver's fixed payment per delivery and per kilometre. Those numbers can be found in the save game profit logs. It doesn't happen often but occasionally even higher than level 36 drivers will fail to make money if that maintenance figure I only have 2 so far but my first guy gets average ~6,000 per day and my new girl gets ~4,000 per day. These numbers go up as they increase their skills (obviously). #3. Colluceus Jan 18, 2017 @ 11:53am. Originally posted by Nono54Fr: Originally posted by XBL Laberbacke:

Like a lot of other things (double trailers, used trucks, buying your own trailers, seeing your hired drivers on the road) it used to be an option in some of the older games. You could select how many hours you want to sleep, so you could take a power nap for a couple of hours or sleep the whole night.

There should be a point to updating all of your trucks, at least for the functional items. Here are some suggestions: - Cab/Console: Reduces driver fatigue/rest requirements. - Chassis: Allows hauling the heavier loads. - Engine: Allows hauling the heavier loads/reduces trip time. - Tires: Increases fuel efficiency.

Just watch the crawl for when they level up and you can switch that selection after each level-up to direct their skill progression. Nope, the hired drivers in both ATS and ETS2 are just scripted. So you never see them on the road, but i know they had it implented in one of the 18 wheels of steels games. Only minus where that the map was much smaller compared to ATS, so i guess it was easier too track companydrivers in that game.

In the archive of the mod with new photos for hired drivers. Used photos of Russian and foreign actors Each photo corresponds to a name in Russian. Version 2.3: – increased the total number of drivers to 356 – adapted to 1.35.x. For ETS2 and ATS version 1.35.x. On version 1.34 and below, it may not work, use the previous version

No, for the drivers upgrading the truck is 99.9% cosmetic. Trailers can have varying effects, most of which will not be positive. However, the appearance of higher rated drivers is dependent on new drivers being added to the game by SCS, because the ratings of a driver in the game are set based on the player driver's level at the time the driver is added to the pool and when you create an in-game profile _all_ existing drivers are added to the pool from the beginning.

You don’t need to hire drivers. There’s no content locked behind hiring drivers. You are free to play the game however you want. I’m like you, and I love just driving on my own. But usually after I have played on the same save game for a good while and I try different trucks and stuff, sometimes I begin hiring them.
