Losing workshops when you declare war. I had a brewery in vostrum and got a merc contract with the Northern empire, they proceeded to declare war on the southern empire and I lost my brewery, 15000 gone just like that. In my opinion the workshop should be âtemporarilyâ unusable when at war at least for mercs if youâre a lord in another
In Bannerlord, there is no royal treasury. The kingdom-wide expanses and incomes are shared among the nobility. It means that you will participate in the payment of the mercenary clans employed by the kingdom, but also that you will receive a share of the tribute gained at the end of a war.
Their economy, like any nation in Mount and Blade is dependant upon whether or not their lands are defensible and raided infrequently. However, they have much more natural borders with their neighbors (with the imperial factions being an exception, but even then there are a some daunting mountains in the way), meaning a better defended frontier.Best way I've found is to take a castle on your own, then when you have it, join a faction. That way you get to keep the castle and you have the support of the faction if you need to defend it. It's probably not worth doing that until you can command at least 100 troops. #6.
Well first things first, you can't become king all by your lonesome. Each faction has their own specialties. Their own "Best in Slot" unit's if you will. The Nords (Blue) tend to focus heavily on Melee, especially the Huscarls. Seriously, if you're on foot and you see a Nordic Huscarl running towards you, run.
I wouldnât mind if that was a feature of Bannerlord, but it really is a bit redundant. Once you get to Clan Tier 1 you can freely enlist as a mercenary with any faction and hop in any one of their armies to the same practical effect. Well it would be a pleasure for me to skip the grind from tier 0 to tier 1 in this permadeath environment.
